The Differences Between WiFi 6E And WiFi 6

    Three years ago, Wi-Fi 6 technology entered the market, providing faster speeds, lower latency and improved security for many homes. Since then, a series of technological developments have made the Wi-Fi experience better. In order to solve the congestion problem of 2.4Ghz and 5.8Gh, in 2020, the Wi-Fi Alliance announced the expansion of Wi-Fi 6 from the 2.4GHz and 5Ghz frequency bands to 6Ghz , namely Wi-Fi6E, what are themain improvements of Wi-Fi6E compared to Wi-Fi6? Follow in my footsteps and let's go see it together.     Powerful 6Ghz   Wi-Fi6E has one more E than Wi-Fi6. E stands for "Extended", which means extension and strengthening. It can be seen that WiFi6E is an enhanced version of WiFi6. We can see from the following figure that Wifi 6E has new frequency:6Ghz which is added beside 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz.       The 6GHz band enables higher concurrency, lower latency, and higher bandwidth, with an operating frequency range of 5925 MHz to 7125 MHz (including 7 160MHz channels, 14 80MHz channels, 29 40MHz channels, 60 20MHz channels, a total of 110 Compared with 45 channels of 5Ghz and 4 channels of 2.4Ghz, the capacity is larger and the throughput is greatly improved.   Substantially Improved Wi-Fi Speed   Wi-Fi6E brings a more efficient way to pack data, because it transmits on one signal, thus quadrupling the data rate for a given channel, thereby increasing network speed, the ideal peak rate for Wi-Fi6E Can reach 3.6Gbps.     Greatly Extend Battery Life   Each version of the Wi-Fi standard has improved the battery life of network devices. Status of WIFI 6GHz frequency band allocation in the world

With the official opening of MWC2022, the world's most influential mobile communication exhibition, Qualcomm launched the world's first Wi-Fi 7 solution - FastConnect 7800, which supports a peak speed of up to 5.8Gbps and a latency of less than 2ms. The public also expects to transition from the mature WIFI4 and WIFI5 to the updated WIFI6, WIFI6E and WIFI7 products to enjoy a smoother wireless experience. The distribution of the 6GHz frequency band related to WIFI in various regions of the world is also the focus of wireless-oriented people. The frequency band used by WIFI6 is the same as that of WIFI5, namely 2.4GHz+5GHz, but only supports the updated 802.11 AX protocol. WIFI6E and WIFI7 support 2.4GHz+5GHz+6GHz with tri-band at the same time. WIFI6E in VR/AR

  AR and VR have always been hot in recent years. IDC believes that the AR and VR markets will develop rapidly at a compound annual growth rate of 56% in the next five years. AR (Augmented Reality) and VR (Virtual Reality) have been hot in the market in recent years. According to the latest report from market research company IDC, the AR and VR helmet market shipments are expected to grow from 13.7 million in 2017 to 81.2 million in 2021. with a compound annual growth rate of approximately 56.1%.
